The newly completed Interior Renovations Project enables Woodford to tell the stories of enslaved Africans Azmin, Hagar, Philae, Peter, Cuffy, and Greenwich, some of whom lived here, and all of whom were enslaved by Woodford's early owners at various points in time. Watch the presentation on the renovation project and Woodford's ties to the history of enslavement and indentured servitude with Curator & Site Manager Jeff Duncan, historical interpretations by Carol Spacht and Keith Henley, and a Q&A. Funding for the interior renovations project was supported by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission and received a 2024 award from Preservation Pennsylvania.
