The Naomi Wood Trust (“Trust”) provides www.woodfordmansion.org (“Site”) in support of the Trust’s mission to collect, document, study, preserve, and maintain objects associated with the American Colonial and early Federal periods, with an emphasis on Philadelphia. The Trust operates, cares for, stewards, and interprets the Woodford Mansion, where the collection is displayed.

By accessing the Site, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, which the Trust may revise from time to time. Users are encouraged to revisit this page to review current terms and conditions.

Use of Materials. Unless otherwise expressly provided, the contents (“Materials”) of this Site, including all images and text, are for personal, educational, non-commercial, or any other “fair use” use under U.S. copyright law. You agree that you will not use the materials for any other purpose and will not otherwise violate the Trust’s or any other party's intellectual property rights. You are responsible for obtaining any rights, permissions, or consents from any party that may be required for your particular use. No matter what your use, users should cite the source of the materials and the citations should include a link to www.woodfordmansion.org.

Digital Millenium Copyright Act. Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512, the Trust has a designated copyright agent to receive notices of claimed infringement. If you are a copyright owner who believes the display of your content on the Site constitutes copyright infringement, please send your notice to:

Our Commitment To Privacy. Your privacy is important to us. We use the information you provide about yourself to answer inquiries we receive and provide notifications and requested services. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to fulfill those needs. Our online services are not directed to individuals under thirteen years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under thirteen years of age.

Indemnity. The user agrees to hold the Trust harmless from and against any claims, damages, expenses, costs or liabilities arising in any way from your use of the Site, as well as to indemnify the Trust against any such claims.

No Warranties. Materials on the Site are provided “as is” without representation or warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use, copyright ownership and/or non-infringement or other third party proprietary rights. At its discretion, the Trust may discontinue or take down all or any part of the Site or remove any Material at any time.

Severance; Waiver. If any provision of this agreement is deemed unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be severable from the remaining provisions and will not affect their validity and enforceability. The Trust’s failure to enforce a provision on any occasion shall not be construed as a waiver of such provision.
